This weekend we went to Peterhoff, Peter the Great's imperial palace. It is rated as the 3rd greatest wonder of Russia, and it was pretty spectacular. Peter modeled the grounds after Versailles and some people say it is fairly similar. Peterhoff is full of gardens and fountains and statues, along with Peters palace overlooking the Gulf of Finland. So far Peterhoff has been my favorite "tourist" attraction I guess you would say. Different from some of the cultural things I've experienced while I've been here.

Left: Cool picture of one of Peter's small cabins across from a pond on the grounds of Peterhoff.
